５月日/よく晴れて、富士山がよく見えました。雲ひとつなく、乾燥したよいお天気です。先週のことですが、若手建築家の先生にお話を伺いました。その際、建築と場（地域環境、風土）について話があり、シンドラーとノイトラの違いについて言及しました。建築には場に相応しいことが重要で、建築的に如何に優れていてもシンドラーのものは東ヨーロッパのストイックな部分と暗さがカリフォルニアには向かなかったのではないか、その点ノイトラは明るく健康的でゴージャスなモダンさが受け入れられたのではないかという結論でした。その後、クールハースのシアトルの図書館の話が出て期待していたが、シアトルには合わなかったという話もありました。デザイン、特に建築は建設される風土や地形、文化の問題が大きく作用するのだと思いました。こう考えてみると、新国立競技場は如何なものかと感じ入ってしまいます。確かに変化は必要ですが、変われば良いというものでもありません。構造改革などと申しますが、変化していく先が実は時代的に後退を意味するという逆説的な側面もあるかも知れません。何事も改革と言う言葉が革新であったり、良いことだとは夢夢思わないことかも知れません。少なくとも、私に出来ることは限られています。それに全力を傾けたいと思います。
May 17 /I saw Mount Fuji cleanly because of well openly.It was all clear and dry good weather.It was last week, I attended the lecture of the young architect.There was a story about an architecture and a place (local environment, climate) and mentioned the difference between Rudolf Michael Schindler and Richard Joseph Neutra on this occasion.The modernity that the point Neutra was bright and was healthy, and was gorgeous was the conclusion that might be accepted it was important to an architecture that I deserved to be the place, and how stoic part and darkness of the Eastern Europe did not turn to the thing of Schindler for building it in California even if superior.The story of the library of Seattle was designed by Rem Koolhaasis given afterwards and he expected it, but there was the talk that did not match in Seattle.A design particularly architecture, I thought that the built climate and topography, the point of the culture greatly effected.New National Stadium is deeply impressed with any kind of thing when I think in this way.The change is necessary, but is not surely a thing to change.Anyone says restructure,there may be the paradoxical side that the changing future means retreat historically in fact.It may be to think that it is like a dream that speech to be called reformation is innovation, and everything is good.It is limited that develop on at least as for me.I want to focus all energy on it.
