１２月１０日/コンピュータを電脳箱とは良く言ったもので、肉体的な脳の混乱がデスクトップに如実に表れます。纏まりのつかないデザインは様々なファクターに別けられて、デスクトップからなかなか消えません。組み合わせや、完成への手順次第でまた複雑になります。その度にフォルダが増えていくことになります。不合理不合理を乗り越えて、シンプリファイされていくわけです。自分でここが限界だと思うまでです。話は変わりますが、今朝に遠方から仕事の打ち合わせにおいで頂いた方からの手みやげのことです。それは、最中でした。この最中を見る前、現在の生産において経済的な合理性を追求するのであれば生き残りは困難であり、思考の切り替えが必要であるという話をしておりました。ミーティング後にお土産を開けてビックリ。てっきり、同じ形の最中がぎっしり詰まっていると考えていました。ところが、ふたを開けて驚きました。上記写真のごとく、隙間が空いているのです（左下段の隙間は、細長い最中が入っておりましたが、私が頂戴した後です。悪しからず。）。この菓子箱を見て、この地域の名産品として有名であればこの地域は文化的に生き残れると感じました。不揃いが、すんなりと修まっているのです。一見いい加減に見える、この梱包は素晴らしいと感じました。ところが、よくよく菓子の由来をパンフレットで見てみると、この地域の歴史と深く係っている印鑑の形なのです。その形が幾つかあり、この箱の寸法を割り出したと分かりました。それにしても、一見不揃いに見える菓子郡のアットホームな暖かさは何でしょうか。経済的な合理性を感じない、この不揃いに明日の生き残りについてヒントがあるような気がして来ました。これは。この地域が歴史を育んだ資産です。この感覚を活かすべく、講演を致したいと感じました。手仕事の不揃いは、揃えようと必死の努力が暖かみある量産に結びつきます。合理性を追求するなら、近隣諸国が手ぐすね引いて待っております。スウェーデンのデザイナーにスティグ・リンドベリという有名な方がいらっしゃいます 。その方の自伝のなかに、嘗て１９５０年代後半の日本製品に圧されて理想的な生産と経済の余裕が無くなっていくスウェーデンの状況が書かれています。この頃の日本製品は、現在はお隣の国の製品なのです。北欧諸国がどのように生き残り、イタリアがどのように復活したのか知るべきです。タイムレス、リサイクル、多品種少量生産など縮小経済なりの方策は必至です。日本の生産システムの再構築は容易ならざる局面です。来年はじっくり学んできたいと、思っております。
